Last weekend was the final night of Short Short Fe

Last weekend was the final night of Short Short Fest. And we closed it all off at the @capridrivein . We are so grateful for everyone coming out and bringing SO MUCH creativity to our festival this year. This is a true community event, and the community really came out. And we can’t give enough thanks for that . . . Seeing people connecting, playing video games or drawing at the drawing tables (shout out @sharpie and @uglybooksofficial for the supplies) or just enjoying indie animation, the people that come together every year is why we do this. We at Short Short Fest love art. We love artists. And we love keeping creators in the spotlight. This year brought in more creatives than we could have expected, rain or shine. And as we step away to take some time off, know we already have the ball rolling for next year. FULL LIST OF ARTISTS featured is in our BIO. And if you have any questions, pictures from the event you want to share, ideas for next year, or just want to say “hi”, SHOOT US A DM!

Nearly 200 people braved the pouring rain to come

Nearly 200 people braved the pouring rain to come out and watch some cool cartoons this weekend. It was magic to see our country tome together to celebrate each other and indie animation at @martymageesirishpub. Excited to what artists come out Friday for Night 2 in Michigan at the @capridrivein ! Thank you to everyone who made this happen and all the artists that shared their work with our event. Y’all are why we do it.
